Collect Dust. Keep It Contained.
When it comes to industrial cleaning, vacuuming dust is often the easy part. The real challenge is what happens to the material once it has been collected.
If dust is emptied or tipped out in an uncontrolled manner, it can simply become airborne again, creating dust clouds, contaminating surrounding areas and increasing the need for further cleaning. Depending on the material being handled, this can also present health, safety and housekeeping challenges.
Why Dust Containment Matters
Effective dust management is about more than simply removing material from the work area. Containing dust throughout the collection and disposal process helps maintain cleaner working environments, reduces secondary contamination and improves overall site housekeeping.
For industries carrying out regular maintenance, plant cleaning or major shutdowns, having the right dust handling equipment can make a significant difference to both productivity and cleanliness.
The GWS Filter Hopper Solution
The GWS Filter Hopper has been designed to work alongside our 50 Series Vacuum Machines and larger industrial vacuum systems to provide a cleaner method of handling collected dust.
As material enters the hopper, a high-efficiency bank of filters separates the dust from the conveying air before the collected material is discharged directly into sealed 1-tonne bulk bags. This helps minimise the release of dust back into the surrounding environment during disposal.
Key Benefits
Helps reduce the release of airborne dust during discharge.
Creates a cleaner, safer working environment for operators.
Protects industrial vacuum systems from contamination.
Allows collected material to be contained in sealed bulk bags for disposal or potential re-use.
Ideal for planned shutdowns, routine maintenance and industrial cleaning projects.
Compatible with GWS 50 Series Vacuum Machines and larger industrial vacuum systems.
Typical Applications
Our Filter Hoppers are used across a wide range of industries where dust containment is an important part of the cleaning process, including:
Power generation
Steelworks
Cement and mineral processing
Petrochemical plants
Ports and bulk material handling
General industrial maintenance
Whether the application involves ash, dust, catalyst or other dry materials, the aim remains the same—collect the material safely and keep it contained throughout the process.
